Bought It/Forgot It (With Video)

Hey everyone! I'm back for this month's Bought It/Forgot It. It seems like a really long time since I did one of these, even though it was just a month ago. I have no sense of time lately!
Anyway, here are the things I was supposed to remember over the past month:

  • Cargo blush in Rome: I've been loving this blush lately! It still does not have a dent in it whatsoever, but I promise I've been using it a few times a week. It's a perfect shade for Spring and Summer....I plan to continue using this in the months to come!
  • MAC Cosmetics lipstick in Candy Yum Yum: I never took this lipstick out because when I first got it, I deemed it un-safe for work. So I always forgot about it, even though I do love it! Well...I've figured out a way to make it work-friendly. I apply my Baby Lips on my lips first, and then just barely apply Candy Yum Yum on top. It gives me the color, but not the intensity. I've been loving it lately! I'm so glad I found that little trick, because I will definitely keep using this lipstick for work :)
  • Makeup Forever Technicolor Shadow Palette: This was a repeat offender in my BI/FI, as I hardly used it the previous month. I did manage to use it a little this time, but it's still not my go-to for bright colors, and it's not my favorite. I'm sad, because I expected great things out of this palette! But the colors are more muted than what you'd expect from something called "technicolor." So when I want something bright, this doesn't do it for me.

  • Glamour Doll Eyes Eye Shadows: A while back, I knew I wanted to purchase something from Glamour Doll Eyes, but I didn't know what. So I ordered their sampler pack, which includes shadows they choose for you at random from their collection. I think I used a couple of these shadows one time each, and haven't used them again! Mostly because I didn't have a great place to put these away. So they're out of sight/out of mind!
  • Nars Blush Duo in Sin/Casino: I had been wanting the Laguna/Orgasm duo for so long, and when I finally went to purchase it, I fell in love with this duo instead. I used it quite a bit initially, but once I got my One Night Stand palette, this duo got pushed to the bottom of the blush drawer, and I haven't been using it much at all. Even though the shades aren't very springy,  I know it'll be no problem to use this again because I really love it.
